Aurora Labs, provider of Vehicle Software Intelligence (VSI) for connected, autonomous, and electric vehicles, announces that it has won the eMove360 Award in the category “Automated Driving & Electronics”. The jury recognized Aurora Labs’ innovative VSI technology, which is based on the company’s Line-Of-Code Intelligence solution. With its approach, Aurora Labs enables software transparency and management for automotive manufacturers. VSI is the only solution that enables vehicle manufacturers to be proactive and not reactive to software fixes.
The finalists’ solutions were analyzed according to numerous criteria, including scientific and technical performance, innovation, safety and cost-effectiveness. In the “Automated Driving & Electronics” category, Aurora Labs’ Vehicle Software Intelligence technology achieved the best performance.
Full software transparency for automotive manufacturers
Aurora Labs’ innovative solution uses Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to proactively detect anomalies in vehicle software code and restore the software to the last safe and certified version in case of a high probability of failure. In this way, Aurora Labs ensures vehicle and driver safety. Aurora Labs’ VSI solution also enables automotive OEMs to offer their customers a seamless user experience by updating all electronic control units (ECUs) via over-the-air updates and without downtime. This also means OEMs can perform over-the-air updates easily and cost-effectively, allowing them to roll out new features on time and within budget.
With the Auto Validate feature, Aurora Labs also enables vehicle manufacturers to prove changes made to software code as part of updates, significantly speeding up the time-consuming and costly type approval process.
“We are very pleased to be honoured with the eMove 360 Award for the second time after 2019. Over the past years, we have worked very hard to further develop our Line-Of-Code Intelligence solution. With our Vehicle Software Intelligence technology, we enable automotive manufacturers to have full software transparency as well as to manage their software functionalities cost-effectively”, said Zohar Fox, CEO of Aurora Labs.
Driving confidence in autonomous vehicle capabilities
Roger Ordman, Executive Vice President of Aurora Labs, accepted the award on behalf of the entire company at eMove360 Europe 2021 in Munich. The award, presented at the International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0, is one of the most important prizes for New Mobility.
“The award is recognition for our technological advances that enable OEMs to proactively prevent software code errors from occurring. This drives confidence in autonomous vehicle functions in general,” adds Roger Ordman, Executive Vice President at Aurora Labs.
