Aurora Labs’ Auto Detect adds a layer of AI to the software testing process to detect which tests are required for each software function, eliminating test execution redundancy whenever a new version is committed to the software repository.
If a system has 100 tests, for example, the Line-of-Code Intelligence technology will be able to identify exactly what’s been changed by an update and which other functions might be affected by the new code. This means that of those 100 tests, only 20 might need to run — as they’re directly related to the updated code or to the functions affected by those changes. This means that 80% of tests will not need to run, saving valuable time in the process.
